Hales at Ryall Springs. The E. A. Ellis family dinner guests Christmas included Mijs Pace’s niece, Mrs. Jane Urban from Ashville, N. C. Mrs. W. E. Page and her im¬ mediate family, including Mr and Mrs. Roy Cousins and boys from Greenville, Ga., had Chris¬ tmas dinner together. Mr. and Mrs. E. R. Brandon had all their family home for I hristmas dinner. Thplr son, Dennis, had given them a TV set which all enjoyed. Mr and Mrs. M. J. Hale en¬ tertained Mrs. Frank Morrison, the J. E. Morrisons and the Duke Broome family, fjom Chickamauga, Christmas noon. Mrs. W. G. Morrison, Sr. en- tertained 24 members of her immediate family Christmas noon. Tre Roy and Ernest Mor¬ rison families w r ere missing. Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Bradford had the Hugh McKaig family, the Martin Bradfords Herman Mooies and Billy Joe Bradford as dinner guests Christmas. The holiday guests of Belle and Ollie Reeves and Mrs. Kate Hubble were Mr and Mrs. J. D. Copeland and children and Aaron Hubble of Griffin, Ga. Ajgnes Hubble of Waynesville, N. C , Mr. and Mrs. W. L. O’CONNELL SUFFERS ACCIDENT We know know her her mi many Dade county friends will be sorry to learn that just before Christ- mas, Mrs. Mona O’Connell suf- fered severe burns on her left leg and foot. Mrs. O'Connell was boiling some cloths on her cookstove and attempted to move this large tub of boiling soapsuds. She has had arthritis in her wrist and it gave way causing about 3 gallons of this boiling w r ater to spill down her left leg and foot. The doctor tells her it will be about six weeks before it will be healed enough for her to put on her shoe. We wish for her a speedy re¬ covery. .
