C Collier, in Big Stone Gap, Va., he will continue to California where he will em¬ bark for Hawaii for his next station. ODD FELLOWS’ DISTRICT MEET HELD HERE AT LEGION HALL The I. O. O. F. held their 17th annual district meeting on March 27 at the American Le¬ gion Hall in Trenton This was the fir t time the meeting was ever held in Dade-Gounty. Spe¬ cial speakers included the Grand Secretary of Atlanta Grand Master of Dalton, and Deputy Grand Warden of La Fayette. Welcome addresses were given by Mayor A L Dyer on behalf of Trenton and by M J. Hale for Dade County , About one hundred visitors from the other lodges attend¬ ed. These were from LaFayette Airogan, Rome, Cedartown Rossville Trion and Dalton A chicken stew was served to the visitors on the Legion grounds. DIXON ANNOUNCES OPENING SCHEDULES OF LAKE WINNEPESAUKAH I AMUSEMENT CENTER Mrs. Minette Dixon, owner and manager of Lake Winne-j pe aukah, one of the outstand-J ing and most popular resorts in , the entire Southland, has an¬ nounced opening schedules. On the two week-ends of April 10th and 11th and April 17th and 18th the amusement center wall swing open tn the public with all rides and con- cessions open Then on April 24th the park will begin its full-time operation.
