MEET HELD HERE
AT LEGION HALL
The I. O. O. F. held their 17th
annual district meeting on
March 27 at the American Le¬
gion Hall in Trenton This was
the fir t time the meeting was
ever held in Dade-Gounty. Spe¬
cial speakers included the
Grand Secretary of Atlanta
Grand Master of Dalton, and
Deputy Grand Warden of La
Fayette.
Welcome addresses were given
by Mayor A L Dyer on behalf
of Trenton and by M J. Hale
for Dade County
, About one hundred visitors
from the other lodges attend¬
ed. These were from LaFayette
Airogan, Rome, Cedartown
Rossville Trion and Dalton A
chicken stew was served to the
visitors on the Legion grounds.
