And they remembered his words, And returned from the sepulchre, and told all these things unto the eleven, and to all the rest.—Duke 24. 6-9. BECAUSE OF AN EMPTY CROSS R. L. Itilten We know that there is life beyond death, Because of an empty cross We know that God loves us, Because of an empty cross. We knew there Is hope for a better world, Because of an empty cross. We know that God can overcome evil, Because of an empty cross. We know that there Is purpose in life, Because of an empty cross. We know that our lives can be noble. Because of an empty cross. We can rejoice at Easter, Because our Saviout was willing to go to a cross. We can rejoice at Easter, Because Christ overcome the cross. GEORGIA THURSDAY, APRIL 15, 19^4 Nature Brings Us Easter Beauty Nature is putting out her best finery for us in Dade County this Easter. The dogwood is magnificent with not enough leaves out on the trees, as yet, to obstruct the view. The fruit trees and wild honysuc-kle are adding their white and pink to this picture of loveliness. Lawns are green and the many flowers blooming around the houses are nodding their bright colors in the soft warm breezes. But the pure, chaste white blossoms of the dogwood, shin¬ ning through the forests oi outlined against the tall stately trees is an Easter inspiration of the glory of God. OBITUARY CHARLES A.
