Wayne and Gerald Hurst, sons of Mr. and Mrs. James Hurst of Atlanta, are spending several weeks with their grand¬ parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Hurst. Mr. and Mrs. W B Haynes, Mr. and Mrs. Dudley Davis, Mr. and Mrs. Bob Davidson, Nathan Echols and Bozle Carter went fishing Saturday night and had very good luck, catching about 40 pounds. The demonstration will be on chair seating with Sea grass. Barbecue at Rising Fawn July 5th The annual barbecue at Ris¬ ing Fawn will be on Monday, July 5th this year. Barbecue ana iBrunswick Stew with all the “trimmings” will be served from eleven o'clock in the morning through two in the afternoon. Tickets for adults will be $1.00 and children under twelve 50 cents. Tickets are on sale at all ithe stores in Rising Fawn, and Bill Austin can sell you one or a dozen at Trenton Funiture Company or Jeril Cooper at Dy¬ er Motor Company. Proceeds from the barbecue are used to help take care of the street lights and other community ex¬ penses. Everyone in the county, al¬ ong with all holiday visitors, is invited to visit us at the Ris¬ ing Fawn Community Park on July 5th.
