Ruth Wilson Wed To Don Gross Saturday
Miss Ruth Wilson of Rising
Fawn and Don Gross of Tren-
ton. were married Saturday
night, June 26, at the Rising
P’awn Methodist Church in a
candlelight service. The bride
is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Waiter Wilson, and Mr Gross
is the son of Mr. and Mrs.
Henry Gross of Trenton. Rev.
R L Hilten officiated at the
ceremony and Mrs M R Wil-
son, Mrs Glen Smith and Mrs.

j I The bride, given in marriage
by her father, was attired in a
waltz length gown of candle-
light satin, made with a close
fitting basque and chantilly
lace yoke, the long sleeves end-
ing in points over the wrists,
Her veil of illusion, was attach-
ed to a white satin cap, falling
finger tip length She carried
a bouque of stephanotls, lillies
of the valley and white garde-
nias.
Mrs. Fred Harrison, sister of
the bride, was the only attend-
ant She wore a dress of or-
chid satin and carried an old
fashioned bouquet of yellow
I roses, wearing a circlet of yel
low roses.
Little Diane Gross served as
ringbearer with Patsy Harrison
as flower girl. Their dresses
were fashioned alike, Diane
wearing green taffeta, and

Miss Deliah Holland, daugh¬
ter of Mr. and Mrs. Russell Hol¬
land of Trenton, Tuesday be¬
came the bride of Mr. Clayton
Decker of Montrose, Pa.
The couple were wed by D. F.
Long, Justice of the Peace at
Rising Fawn. Newana and
Randal Mayhew served as their
attendants. After a wedding
trip to the bridegroom’s home
in Pennsylvania, they will make
their home in San Diego, Calif.,
where Mr. Decker is stationed
with the U. S. Navy.
A unique courtship preceded
the wedding Tuesday. Mr, and
Mrs. Decker had been corres-
ponding with each other for
about a year, but had never
seen one another until last
Friday.

SUPPER SATURDAY NIGHT
There will be a plate lunch
supper at the New England
community house Saturday
night, July 3. There will be
plenty for everyone. Serving
will begin at 6:30 P. M.
