ROUTE 2 NEWS By Mrs. Fred Cooper Mr. & Mrs. Willard Michaels have a new baby girl born No¬ vember 7 and weighing 8 lbs. She has been named Sonia Montez. Mother and baby have returned heme fiom the Tr',- County Hospital where Sonia was born. Miss Gertha Hartiine is in the hospital. She is a student it Davis High Leon and Roy Morgan spent Wednesday night with Ruddy Cooper. Mrs. Bertha Patten, with her sister Stella and her mother, spent three days this week vi¬ siting her brother m the Cu- rolinas. Mrs. Leona Wood had an operation Thursday but was able to return home Saturday. Mr. Joyce Whetzell’s Thurs¬ day visitors were Ada Tinker, Maggie Cooper and Elizabeth and Mrs. Jo Moore and Conzaie. Mr. and Mrs.* Fred Cooper and Ada Tinker were visiting Mis. M. F. Hill in_Chattanoc- ga, Monday. Visiting among friends in the community this week were Mrs. Vickie Cocper and Mrs. Otto Cooper and a daughter of John R. Tinker Jr. dropped by to see him Monday. The Fred Coopers called on the Rich Morgans on Wednesday and Mrs. Janie Moore went to see Mrs. Vickie Cooper Thursday. Saturday Mrs. Geraldine Tinker visited with Mrs. Victoria Cooper, Bertha Gilley went to see Edna Cooper and Mrs. Marvin Tink¬ er called on Mrs. W. M. Wall. Some of the calls made on were: Betty Patton and Betty Hardeman visited with Gracelyn Rcden, Edna Cooper spent the day with Ina Dean Hardeman, Nancy Williams called on Frances Albertson, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Williams went to see Mrs. Bertha Patton and Mr and Mrs. Archie Tinker of Chattanooga stopped by to see his father, John R. Tinker, Jr. and Mr. and Mrs. Estel Tinker. Mr. and Mrs. Willis Wooten were visiting Wednesday with their daughter Mrs. Ruth Hand and were in town shopping on Saturday. Arthur Wood, who is now liv¬ ing in Florida, is here visiting relatives and friends. Pleasant Grove Church had 47 in Sunday School this Sun¬ day.
