ter, Mrs. T. S. Renfroe for two
days this week.
Mr. and Mrs. E. G. Wright,

welcomed many visitors over

family for the Christmas holi¬

Mr. and Mrs. Jorge Mascn-
nana’s granddaughter, who lives
with them, Is a very sick little
girl at the Wildwood Sanitar¬
ium.
Browny Stephens, who is now
working on a magazine in In¬
diana, visited the T. S. Ren-
froes and other friends during
the holidays.
Mrs. Bonnie Lacy will return
the last of the week from a vi-
sr with her daughter, Mrs.
Glen Gray and children in Long
Beach, Calif.
The T.R Tuckers of LaFa-
yette are the guests of Mrs.
Tucker's parents, Mr. and Mrs.
D T. Brown, while Mr. Tucker
Is taking a short leave.
Mr. and Mrs. Forest Morrison
from Smyrna, Ga. and three
children are spending a few
davs with his mother, Mrs. W.
G Morrison, Sr. and sister. Miss
Gladys Morrison.
Mr. and Mrs. Jakie Smith are
the parents of a new daughter,
born Dec. 28 In a Chattanooga
hospital. The baby weighed 5
lbs. and 14 oz. Mo f her and baby
are getting along fine

win’s holiday visitors have been
his mother, Mrs. J. B. Goodwin,
and his (brother, with his wife
and two children, Mr. and Mrs.
W. D Goodwin from Reynolds,
Georgia.

their stay, Mrs. Allison was
pleasantly surprised to receive a
phone call from Mrs. Lottie Aus¬
tin, who lives at Mt. Dora, Fla.,

BYRD’S CHAPEL CLUB
ENJOYS CHRISTMAS PARTY
Thirteen were present when
the Byrds Chapel Home Demon-
stration Club met December 19
for a Christmas party at the
home of Mrs. W. C. Payne.
Mrs. W. C. Cureton was in
charge of the program, which
included a reading of the
Chris'mas Story, a poem,
“Christmas Prayer,” by Mrs. C.
T. Payne; a poem, “At Christ-
mag Time „ by Mrs victor K ee-

Night Before Christmas” by
Mrs. W. C. Payne.
Mrs. Neil Fischer was in
charge of entertainment. Va-
rious games were played
..four prizes won by Mrs. W. C.
cureton, Miss Naomi Hubble,
Mrs. Victor Keeton and Mrs. J.
F. Irby.
Mrs. Cureton was the only
entry in the Decorating and
Lighting Contest.
Gifts were exchanged and
Santa brought the children
