Woolbright and son, Robert Earl, of Detroit visited the Woo^brights in Trenton. Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. E. C. Daniels & son have just moved to the H. G. Prince farm from Chattano¬ oga Valley. ^ Mr and Mrs. Sewell Walker, and Mrs. Herb Nesbitt and son of Miami, Fla., Mr. and Mrs. Ralph McLendon and son of Tallahassee, Fla., visited the L. W. Miore family last week. Mr. and Mrs. L. T. Hadden, parents of our local druggist, R. L. Hadden, visited him and his wife the past week. The older Mr. Hadden has a drug store in Miami, Fla., where he resides. Mr. and Mrs. Dudley Cure- ton entertained their daughter, Janie Lee, with a birthday par¬ ty Saturday. Attending ware thirty classmates from Notre Dame. They went swimming and had a weiner roast. Mrs. Martin Nethery, reports that a large tree blew down in her yard Monday during the storm. It pulled the power lines with it causing power failure of approximately 1 hour. The quick work of the Georgia man crew and a crew from Fowler Companfy local three Summerville restored the pow¬ er service quickly. Mrs George Seay’s name was omitted from the list if those from the Golden Age Club who made a trip to Atlanta recently. Mrs. Taylor Castleberry, Mrs. Willis Blevins and Mrs. John Moore worked with the Juniors and studied theme “Adventur¬ ing with God”. Working with the Intermedi¬ ates and studying the “Book of Acts” were Mrs. C. D. Brad¬ ford and Mrs. J. A. (Mickey) Bobo. Music was by Mrs. Brice Hol¬ land. The Pastor acted as Prin¬ cipal for the school. There were 17 dedications, with one of the young girls dedicating her life for a missionary. Due to the large number en¬ rolled the school was held at the school building, for which we are thankful to our Supt. and Principal of the Rising Fawn School.
