The meeting was called to order by the president, Mrs. Grace Elliott, followed by Bible reading by Mrs. D. P. Hood and a prayer. M§3. Elliott announced the new project chairmen: Land¬ scaping, Mrs. Kate Elliott; Gar¬ dening, Mrs. Verna Hood; Cloth¬ ing, Mrs. Grace Elliott; Child Development, Mrs. G. A. Grant; Food Preservation, Mrs. G. H. Kirtland; Home Improvement, Mrs. J. D. Pike; Recreation, Mrs. K. T. Bodenhamer; Poultry, Mrs. F. W. Talley; Orcharding, Mrs. J. O. Gass; Rural Housing and Electrification, Mrs. H. H. Bodenhamer; Scrap Book, Mrs. Henry Elliott; Cancer Drive, Mrs. G. H. Kirtland. Mrs. Hood gave a report on the Council meeting held at Trenton. The club voted to help serve lunch at Trenton one day during Court Week to help raise money for the County Council. Goals were set up for the year. 'There were 14, so some of them will have to work. Due to illness, Miss Hubble was unable to meet with us, but she gave good guidance by phone. We wish for her a speedy recovery. Refreshments were served by he hostess, assisted by Mrs. F. W. Talley. The next meeting will be at the home of Mrs. K. T. Bodenhamer Feb. 15. NEWSALEM We are certainly happy to have R. L.
