Rising Fawn Club Holds Meeting The May meeting of the Rising Fawn Home Demonstration Club, held at the home of Mrs. Haley Dean, was a hilarious affair with the roll call answered by poems ranging from Mother Goose rhymes to local limericks and end¬ ing with a hat modeling emceed by Miss Naomi Hubble, home demonstration agent. She made interesting comments on each hat modeled as the hats were trimmed with household objects that are too often the cause of accidents— knives, pans, slippery vegetables, bars of soap, etc. Pictures made at the recent dress revue were shown and plans for the state event at Rock Eagle discussed. Miss Hubble announced that a county-wide craft workshop fea¬ turing basket-making and copper tooling would be held June 12- 13-14. The annual club picnic will be held July 10 at Cloudland Canyon, it was announced. Mrs. Jean Harrison and Mrs. Mary Friedman told of the very enjoyable council meeting at New Salem.
