He was elected Solicitor Gener Circuit in 1952, serving in that office until running unopposed for his present < 1956. He is a “COMMON SENSE” candidate of wisdom and foresight who will work in close harmony with the rest of the Georgia delegation. JUDGE MITCHELL served as a combat fighter pilot in World War TI. and again saw active duty with the Air Force in the Korean conflict. He is the father of three children and Sun¬ day School teacher in the Dalton First Methodist Church. ERWIN MITCHELL was graduated from the University of Georgia law school, where he was a member of the honorary Gridiron Club.
