R. Carson The Cave Springs Methodist Church held its annual Harvest Festival at the Community House Friday evening, Nov. 22. A delicious feast prepared by the ladies was enjoyed by everyone. The ladies had some beautiful things to sell. At the close of the festival, those who had saved and sold things for the Lord’s Acre project laid their money on the table and it was dedicat¬ ed to God. Total amount was *159.48. These people believe in giving out of the abundance that God has given them. The MYF met Saturday night at the church. You young people who are not coming, come out and enjoy the fellowship. We all enjoyed church and Sunday School Sunday morning and the Rev. Looney preached an inspiring sermon. We also -had a good attendance. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if we could have 100% attendance? If you’re not going to church and Sunday School, come out and join us and I am sure you will want to come back again. Come to Prayer Meeting each Tuesday night. Time 6:30. As we come to another Thanks giving, may we be thankful from our hearts and praise him with our lips. But let us not give tnanks unto God on one day, but may there continually be gratitude in our hearts for his mercy and goodness. Read the 100th Psalm where David speaks about praising the Lord in every verse. Then let us praise God with all our hearts.
