The Ladies Aid of the Wild¬ wood Methodist Church met on Thursday night, May 15, at the home of Mrs. R. S. Townsend. Mrs. J. E. Dantzler, pres, presided over the (business meeting. Mrs. Elizabeth Townsend was in charge of the devotional. The new officers for the com¬ ing year were elected and will assume ther duties at the next meeting. Mrs. Pete Jolly was elected president with Mrs. Eli¬ zabeth Townsend as vice-presi¬ dent. Mrs. R. S. Townsend will serve as secretary and treasurer with Mrs. Jack Ford as assistant. Mrs. J. H. Cooley will be devot¬ ional chairman. The Vacation Bible School of the Wildwood Methodist Church school will begin on Tuesday, June 3, at the church. The start¬ ing hour will be 9 o’clock.
