E. Geddie. The J. B. Geddie Family. Obituary James Ellis Geddie James Ellis Geddie, 77, of Trenton, Ga., died Sept. 10. He was a member of the Trenton Baptist Church and the Wood¬ men of the World. Survivors are 'his wife, Mrs. Susie Geddie; a son, J. B. Geddie, both of Tren¬ ton; three daughters, Mrs. T.E. McMahan of Chattanooga, Mrs. Clyde Littlejohn of Birming¬ ham, and Mrs. Bob Robertson of Oak Ridge, Tenn.; nine grand children; one brother, George Geddie o f Moundsville, Ala. Funeral services were held at the Trenton Baptist Church with the Rev. Pearl Tinker and the Rev. William Steele offici¬ ating. Burial was in the Trenton Baptist Cemetery with Moore Funeral Home in charge. Claude C. Tripp Claude C. Tripp, 67, who was a life long resident of Scaff Community in the northwest corner of Dade County , died Sept. 13. Funeral services were 'held at Lone Oak Baptist Church, near Pikeville, Tenn. 'The Rev. Wiliam Barnes offici¬ ated. Interment was in Brushv Cemetery. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Della Walker Tripp; mother, Mrs. Mary Lou Tripp, both of the Scaff Community; a brother, Lester T. Tripp, Tampa, Fla.; two half sisters, several nieces and nephews. Mrs. ftoxie Williams Mrs. Roxie Ann Williams, 63, of New England, died yesterday In an area hospital. A native of Alabama, Mrs. Williams had dived in Dade County for the past 22 years. She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church at Groveoak, Ala. Surviving are Iher husband, William Newton Williams; two sons, Milford C. land Willie G. Williams, all of Trenton; three sisters, Misses Sadie and Cora Coleman, both of Groveoak, and Mrs. Ott Wil¬ kie, Fyffe, Ala., and three bro¬ thers, Charlie Coleman, Hene- gar, Ala.; Ed and A. K , Cole¬ man, both of Groveoak. Funeral services were held at Calvary Baptist Church with the Revs. T.C. Nelson, Rufus Bailey and Robert Isbell officiating. A two year old boy in our community is believed to have gotten roach poison but was taken to a clinic and had his stomach pumped and got okay.
