SAVING BONDS LAND SALE WHEREAS, on March 8th, 1956 Otho Foster executed and de¬ livered to Bank of Dade, a se¬ curity deed conveying the pro¬ perty hereinafter described to secure an indebtedness therein described, which security deed is of record in Book 48. pages 381, et seq., of Dade County Deed Records, reference to same being made for its terms and pro¬ visions. And WHEREAS, b y instrument dated October 11, 1957, Bank of Dade transferred and assigned unto Mrs. Gertrude Foster the aforesaid security deed, the debt secured thereby, the property therein described and all rights and powers therein granted, which assignment is of record in Book 48, page 383 of Dade County Deed Records, to which reference is here made. And WHEREAS, the said Otho Fos¬ ter has defaulted in the pay¬ ment of the debt secured by said security deed and all of the un¬ paid part thereof is now past due and unpaid. NOW, THEREFORE, pursuant to the power and authority granted in said security deed, the undersigned Mrs. Gertrude Foster will on Tuesday the 7th dav of October, 1958. within the legal hours of sale, at the Court House door in Dade County, Georgia, expose to sale and will sell to the best and highest bidder for cash the property described in said security deed which is described as follows:- A certain tract or parcel of land, lying and being in Land Lot No. 292 in the 10th district and 4th section of Dade County, Georgia, described as follows:- BEGIN¬ NING at a point on the south line of said lot where the north line of the Gulf road is inter¬ sected by a road which leads northwardly to what is known as the Wade property; thence running north along the west side of the last named road 480 feet, more or less, to the south dine of what is known as the Wade lands; thence westwardly along the south line of what is known as the Wade land, 180 ifeet, more or less, to a rock corner^ thence southwardly along the line between this tract and a tract formerly owned by Luther Taylor, 480 feet, more or less, to the north side of Gulf road; thence eastwardly along said road, 180 feet, more or less, to the beginning point. Said tract contains 2 acres, more or dess, and is the property upon which Otho Foster now resides. The group also discussed ways and means in which better pro¬ tection could be given and in¬ surance rates lowered. It was decided to contact the Insur¬ ance Commissioner’s Office in Atlanta to ask that someone come here to discuss this with the fire department. He would be able to tell the firemen things needed to do to lower the insurance rates and the type of equipment needed to get better protection.
