AN APPEAL
The Wildwood Welfare center
has a very real need for cloth
ing, shoes, bedding, etc. We are
swamped with calls for child¬
ren’s shoes, jeans, shirts, jackets,
sweaters, socks, etc.
We will appreciate it if you
will give your closets the once
over and if you can spare any¬
thing, bring it to the Welfare
Center on Tuesday mornings or
leave it at the Townsend Store.
If this is not possible and you
will let us know, we will come
pick it up.
There are more families in
Dade County that are in real
need than any of us realize.
Somewhere the breadwinners
are sick or out of work, or per¬
haps get only an occasional days
work.. A little lift now will ease
the burden and the giver as well
receives a blessing.
If you would care to donate
a couple of hours work, there
are heaps of patching, mending,
etc. and you will be very
welcome.
