There were three accordian students and Richy Fricks gave a group of piano solos as his gradua¬ tion performance from Mrs. Price’s class. Mrs. Price recom¬ mends that he continue his musical education in Chattan¬ ooga. Mr. Will Street and Helton remain critically ill. Roy Wallin is ill and in Hutcheson Hospital. Ray Bobo, who is home on a two weeks vacation, is driving a MG. Quite a number of out-of- State visitors joined local resi¬ dents in celebrating Decoration Day, an annual event, at the Deer’s Head Cove where so many of the older citizens of Sand Mountain, DeKalb County and Dade are taking their long last sleep. Mrs. Russ Smith’s sisters, Mrs. Hansard and Mrs. Stella Smith spent Monday with her. Joe Goulding, who has been in service in Germany for the past two years was released from service at Ft.
