tiu ted for an hour after lunch.
A teacher survey evaluating
, thj day’s activities has just
| been completed. It indicates
that it was a day well spent. The
I survey shows that the teachers
bf Dade County want to contin¬
ue the study of teaching read¬
ing. Next, or to the same extent,
they want help with the teach¬
ing of elementary science. In
both reading and science the
teachers asked for demonstra¬
tions with children. The curri¬
culum study includes the study
(Of art and the social studies.
Plans are being made to secure
consultants to help with this
in-service study.
