The Ambassador From Dade
It’s only human to miss see¬
ing the forest because of the
trees.
And we think perhaps, that
sometimes Dade County can
best be seen from Atlanta.
At least that seems to be the
case in point.
Recently at a gathering in the
Capitol City we did more listes-
ing than talking and learned
quite a bit about a Dade County
man, who for all practical pur¬
poses is Dade County to this
group.'
Everything we heard was
complimentary. And it seems
fitting and proper to spread the
word.
The consenus of the group’s
opinion:
Dade County has one of the
most respected and admired re¬
presentatives in the General
Assembly of Georgia.
He is of course, Representa¬
tive Maddox Hale.
This rather quite, unassuming
man goes about his business hi

THE DADE COUNTY TIMES, TRENTON, GEORGIA. THURSDAY, DECEMBER 17, 1959
Trenton, like most Dade Count¬
ains , talking about things in
general but seldom about him¬
self.
Well, we found out that he
has been far less quite and un¬
assuming in Atlanta. We found
out that he was the prime
mover in getting U. S. 11 re¬
paired, in getting other road
contracts in Dade.
We found out that he is hard-
headed and demanding when it
comes to passing laws for the
benefit of Dade. He is respected,
even by those who may be his
political enemy.
Rep. Hale has brought much
credit upon the people he repre¬
sents and to this county.
And he has many things
the works—in the interest of
better Dade County.
Before that little
had broken up—we found
selves raising the volume of
voice to make it known that
were from Dade too!
Maddox Hale is OUR
sentative.
