Barnett, of Ridgeway. S. C., which
was solemnized at the home of the
bride on Tuesday afternoon, Aug.
21. at 6 o'clock, is of cordial interest

THE GOLDEN WEDDING OF MR.
AND MRS. JOE YOUNGBLOOD
One of the rare occasions in the
march of events of our county was
the golden wedding of Mr. and Mrs.
Joe Youngblood.
They were married just 50 years
ago Tuaeday, August 28th the home
decorated in gold and yellow, the
table was decorated in golden flow-
and the cake was a gorgeous gold-
yellow. The blessing war. said by
Mr. W. W. Bass, after which a de
licious dinner was served. What was
• interesting than the presence of
their five children and most of their
eight grandchildren, also a host of
relatives and friends. Mr. and Mrs.
Youngblood are prominent farmers
of Baldwin county, every one wishes
them fifty years more of life

Toomsboro.
The home was elcaboratcly and
beautifully decorated in yellow and
red flowers, forming a lovely scene
for the reception of more than thirty
guests who enjoyed the games and
proms during the evening.
Punch was served from a large
bowl that had been banked with flow
ers on one end of the spacious
veranda. Delicious refreshments
were served at the conclusion of the
entertainment.
