the Government fund. Mr. P. N.
Bivins. School Superintendent, was
present, ar.d presented the school
conditions throughout the county and
stated that the school budget had al
ready been made up.
Dr. H. D. Allen. Jr., who was at the
meeting, made a few remarks pertin
ent to the work of a demonstrator,
and stated that he was confident that
her work would be of great value to
the people of the county.
It was the concensus of opinion
among the members that a step for
ward would be taken if Baldwin coun
ty should employ a Home Economic
Demonstrator, and a committee was
appointed to formulate plans if pos
sible to secure one.
The Club also went on record as
favoring the employment of a farm
agent for another year.

Mrs. Margaret Cook Hendricks,
the guardian of J. T. Cook, Jr., and
Robert Brigham Cook, having attain
ed the age of twenty-one years, and
having made a final settlement with
her said wards, has applied to the
Court of Ordinary for letters of di»-
msision from her guardisnship.
This is therefore to notify

PETITION TO SURRENDER
CHARTER
GEORGIA, Baldwin County. a
To the Superior Court of said
County:
Central Georgia Guano Company,
a corporation of Baldwin County,
Georgia, brings thir its petition and
respectfully shows:
1. That by order and decree of
this Court dated 8th day of July,
1910, it was duly incorporated and
granted a charter.
2. That petitioner desires to dis
solve said corporation and surrender
its charter and franchise so granted.
3. That at a meeting of the stock
holders held for that purpose on
June 12. 1928, which was the annual
meeting of stockholders, a resolution
was adopted by the affirmative vote
of more than two-thirds of the entire
capital stock of said corporation pro
viding that it surrender its charter
and franchise and be dissolved. A
certified copy of this resolution be
ing hereto annexed as exhibit "A”
and made a part hereof, reference
to which is prayed as often as may
be necessary.
4. The dissolution of petitioner as
a corporation is fer the best inter
est of all stockholders and creditors,
and may be allowed without injus
tice to any stockholder or to any per
son or persons having or holding
any claim or demand against peti
tioner.
WHEREFORE, petitioner prays
that this Court grant an order fix
ing a tim© for the hearing of this its
petition at the court house in said
county; that its petition be allowed
and ordered filed and published
a week for four weeks immediately
preceeding th© time for the hearing
thereon and that this Court grant a
decree accepting the surrender of its
charter and franchise, as provided
by law.
