BALDWIN COTTON CROP
YIELDS 5,727 BALES

ment ol Commerce this week
showed a yield of 5,727 bales of
cotton in Baldwin county for the
crop year of 1921*.
Mr. S. D. Stembrhlge, collector
of statistics, m th; county, stated
that this: figure was pratically
complete. This figure showed a
great increase over 1928. only 2,-
842 bales having been ginned for
that year.

Judge Larsen. The President of the
Association asked Judge Larsen se%-

pal address. Despite the fact that
Mr. Legge had a previous engage
ment and -at first declined the invi
tation, Congref«man Larsen with his

by Judge Lnreen, nnd this address
will be followed by an address by

the State College of Agriculture, and

will be a banquet at the Baldwin Ho
tel at 8:00 P. M. on Wednesday
night, February twelfth.
