Mr W. A. Torrance, one of Bald
win County’s leading citizens and
farmer* celebrated his seventy-
third birthday anniversary, Satur
day, Uscember 21st, by holding a
family reunion at his home in the
Southwestern section of the county.
One brother and a sister of Mr.
Torrante were unable to be present.
A sunptuous and tempting dinner
was served.
The Terrance family has long been
one of the most prominent in Bald
win county, and numbered among
its m*t substantial citizens. The
Union-Recorder extends hearty con-

Special Professional Tax
Now Due and Payable
Upon each and every practitioner of law, medicine, osteopathy, chiropractic,
chiropodist, dentistry, optometry, masseur, public accountant or embalmer, and
upon every civil, mechanical, hydraulic or electrical engineer or architect
charging for their services as such, the slate law provides that there shall be
levied and collected a special tax of $15.00, and the validity of license is made
