New York, Feb. 21.
The steamship Pacific arrived to-day, bringing our
later intelligence from Liverpool, which is to the 9th
inst.
The Liverpool market was steady, and there was a
f ; ,ir demand, but no change in prid s. The sales for
the three days previous to the sailing of the Pacific
amounted to 21,000 bales.

New Orleans Market.
New Orleans, Feb. 19. —The America’s advices had
been received, but-iiAdther the favorable report of ‘the N
Liverpool market brought by Iter, nor the advance of 1-8
by the Niagara had any effect upon the New Orleans
■market. The leading obstacle to any considerable move- j
•meat is the inadequate supply of tonnage and the con
signment, high rates of freight. The result is that the j
stock on hand exceeds all calculations. Middlings 1-2 j
a 8 3-4 e. Good middling 9 1-2 a 9 3-4 c. Middling j
fair 10 1-1
The receipts at this port since the Ist September, (ex
delusive of the anw.,ls from Mobile, Florida and Texas) j
are 1,198,629 bales, against 823,674 bales to same date j
last year ; and the increase in the receipts at all the ports j
in> to the latest dates, as compared with last \eu\ is 529,-
170 bales. In the exports from the United St; t s to
foreign countries, as compared with the same dates last
year, there is an increase of 312,602 bales to Great •
Britain, and 35,171 to other foreign ports, while to Fran
co there is a drOerca.se of 66,803 bales.
