Liter pool Cotton Market. —The galea of Cotton in ;
the Liverpool market, for the three days since th* i
sailing of the Niagara, on the 23d. comprise 25,4*00 j
hales. The quotation* are as follows : Fair Orl ans.
7*L: Middling Orleans, bar*ly6l 4d.; Fair Uplands
634d ; and Middling Uplands. 6 1 16d. The demand
was good from the trade, which was freely met b\

McHenry quote* Cotton frtely supplied, and prices
fully sustained.
The trade in the manufacturing districts was active. ‘

Havre Cotton Market —The latest acrounts from Ila- :
vre are to Sunday, the 24th ult. Cotton had advane* and j

Political. —The Turkish difficulty is considered set
