Mexican Mustang Liniment.
THIS invaluable preparation has been but a few months
before the people of the South, yet many thousands of
bottles have been sold and used in a great variety of
diseases, and it has given universal satisfaction. We
it ve heard of none that were dissatisfied with it. We
osier it as a remedy in the various diseases and com
plaints for which it is recommended, with full confidence
in curing them, as over four millions of Bottles have been
sold and used for a great variety of complaints, both ot
men and animals, and it has always given satisfaction, be
cause it has performed just what we said it would. It has
healed Cancers and scrofulous sores and ulcers that had
resisted the treatment of the Medical Faculty.
A child in Erode rick ton, N. 8., a few days ago
burned its legs severely against a stove. The mother im
mediately applied Linseed Oil and Cotton Wool, with a
tight bandage over alb in a short time the screams of the
child iuduoed the rrfonier to remove the bandage, when it
was discovered that the cotton wool had taken fire by spon
taneous combustion and had considerably increased the
size of the burn. The mother happened to think that she
had pari of a bottle of Mustang Liniment in her house,
which she got immediately and applied to the burned i
limbs of the little sufferer, and as soon as it was applied, ]
the child ceased its cries and soon alter fell asleep in its |
mother’s arms, by the soothing influence of the valuable !
preparation.
This is to certify that the Mexican Mustang Liniment j
has been used quite extensively in the stables of Adams & j
Co.’s Great Southern, Eastern aiui Western Express, for
curing Galls, Chafes, Scratches, Sprains and Brakes, and ‘
it has proved very effectual. Many of their men have j
also used it on themselves and their families, and they all j
speak of its healing aud remedial qualities in the highest
terms. One of our hostlers got kicked, and badly cut and j
bruised on his knee—as usuai, the Mustang Liniment was j
resorted tofcuid the soreness and lameness was soon re- j
moved, ;uktu was perfectly well in three or four days.—
We have no hesitation in recommending it as a valuable
preparation, to be used externally on man or beast.

Rheumatism.—This is to certify that my wife was af- j
dieted with severe chronic Rheumatism ; she had suffered j
tor months with the most excruciating pains: she had \
tried Rheumatic Compounds, Reliefs and almost every i
thing recommended for this dreadful disease. None of j
them relieved her paius in the least. She used a fifty cent i
bottle of Mustang Liniment, and it cured her entirely, she ;
s uow perfectly well, and recommends all of her triends :
o use the Mustaug Liniment.

DR. GALE’S ANODYNE OP’ OPIUM.
It is a fact well known that many people are accustomed to
bu;> and use without the advice of a physician, many of the pre
parations of Opium, as Laudanum, Paregoric, Bateman’s Drops,
Godfrey’s Cordial and the like.
The effect of these medicines is generally known, and while
they are admitted to possess Anodyne and sedative properties
not’to be dispensed with they are still liable to serious objections
in many cases and doubtless are often mischievous in their ten
deney.
The new chemical preparation, now submitted to the public, is j
believed to possess all their virtues, and even more, without be
ing cnargeable with their bad effects—neither is this opinion •
hastily founded, nor based on limited experience — after a trial j
of some years in which this remedy has been placed in the hands i
of eminent physicians, and tried indeed under every variety of j
circumstance, and in all appropriate cases of disease, it is still i
believed to stand unrivalled, not only for its rare n edicinal vir
tues as a preparation of Opium, but for the safety with which it
may be administered.
