To Professor Hoj.loway :
Sir—Y. ur pill* and uin.meut have stood the highest on our
list oi Proprietary Medicine- ior some years. A customer, lo
whom ! can reler lor any enquiries, desires me to let you know
the particultus of her case. She had been troubled for years
with a disordered liver and bad digestion. On the last occasion,
however, the virulence ol the attack was so ala- ming, and the
iiiliainmation set in so severely, that doubts were e; teitaineu of
her not being able to bear up under it; fortunately she was in
duced to try your Pills, and she informs me that after the first,
and each succeeding dose, had great relief. Hhe continued to
take t hem, and although she used only three boxes she is now in
the enjoyment of perfect health. I could have sent you many
more cases, but ihe above, from the severity of the attack, and
the speedy euro, 1 think speaks much in favor of your astonish

Mexican Mustang Liniment.
THIS invaluable preparation has* been but a few months
before the people ofthe South, yet many thousands of
bottles have been sold and used in a great variety of
mnEASKs, and it has given universal satisiact op. We
h ve heard of uoue that were dissatisfied with it. We
ofter it as a remedy in the various diseases and com
plaints for which it is recommended, with lull confidence 1
in curing them, ar, over four millions of Bottles have been
sold and used for a great variety of complaints, both of j
men and animals, and it has always given satisfaction, be
cause it has performed iust what we said it would. It has
healed Cancers and scrofulous sores and ulcers that had
resisted the treatment ofthe Medical Faculty.
A child in Frederickton, N. 8., a few days ago
burned its legs severely against a stove. The mother im
mediately applied Linseed Oil and Cotton Wool, w ith a
tight bandage over all; in a short time the screams ofthe
child induced the mother to lemove the bandage, when it
was discovered that the cotton wool had taken fire by spun- •
taneous combustion and had considerably increased the
size of the burn. The mother happened to think that she
had par; of a bottie of Mustang Liniment in her house,
which she got immediately and applied to the burned •
limbs of the little sufferer, and as noon as it was applied, I
the child censed its cries and a<on after fell asleep in its j
mother's arms, by the soothing infiueuce of tn a valuable ■
preparation.
This is to certify that the Mexican Mustang Liniment ‘
has been used quite extensively in the stables of Adams fft
Co.’s Great Southern, Eastern and Western Express, for •
curing Galls, Chafes, Scratches, Sprains and BruL.s.and I
it has proved very effectual. Many of their men have i
also used it on themselves and iheir families, and thev all j
speak of its healing aud remedial qualities in the highest ;
terms- One of our hustlers got kicked, and badly cut and I
bruised n his knee—aa usual, the Muswig Liniment was ’
resorted to, aud the soreness and lameness was soon re- i
moved, and it was perfectly well in three or four days.—
We have no hesitation iu recommending it as a valuable i
preparation, to be used externally on man or beast.
