Octoblr 23th, A. D. 1855.
The committee to whom wa- assigned the duty of pre-
P sing resolutions expressive of the feelings of this Lodge,
reference to the death of our beloved brother Robert W.
Coleman, make the following report:
Death has invaded our circle for the first time since the
organization of our lodge. We are caded upon to mourn
the loss of one ol our members. Our friend and brother,
Robert W. Coleman, is no more. But his virtues and be
nevolence, his kindness and charily, bis zeal for, and con
stant adherence to those great principles ol brotherly love,
relics and truth, so beautifully exemplified in his lire, all re
main fresh in our mAnories and live in our hearts. lie
died near his residence on the 24th mst, after an illness of
a lew days We are, therefore, deprived ol our J. D., of
his presence and counsel in our lodge room. His tamily
and friends of a kind husband, father and neighbor. His
losscreates a vacutn that can never be filled ; and though we
mourn, we do so not as those witho t hope tur deceased
brother was an orderly member of the Baptist Church, and
we humbly trust that the great Architect ol the Urn verse
has transplanted him into the celestial Lodge above, where
afliction, sorrow and death are felt and leaded no more.
Resolved, That we bow with humble resignation to this
dispensation of divine Providence.
Resolved, Tnat we deeply sympathize with the bereaved
family ol our deceased brother, and in token of our respect
for his memory, we will wear the usual badge of mourning
for thirty days, and that the furniture arid jewels of our
Lodge be clothed in mourning ,or the same period.
Resolved, Tnat a page in our book of record be inscrib
ed to his memory, and that our Secretary be instructed to
deliver a copy of the foregoing preamble and resolution to
the family of our deceased brother, and a tender of the
sympathies of our Lodge.
Resolved, That our Seretary be instructed to forward a
copy of this preamble and resolutions to the Editors of
Signet & Journal, of Marrietta, Ga , and to the ( olumbus

What do the Physicians Say ?
fjF’ Listen to the testimony of an eminent physician in
favor of M’Lane’s Vermifuge, which is now universally
acknowledged to be the best in use , even members of the
medical faculty fwlio ore so often opposed to the use of
patent medicines,) cannot withhold their approval of this
invaluable remedy:
Lind, Stark Cos. Ohio, Jan. 8, 1849.
I h ive used Dr M'Lane’s Worm Specific in my private
practice, and am prepared to say that the unparalleled sue
cess with w.tieh I have prescribed its use. both lor children
and adults, induces me to say the most in its favor of any
specific or patent medicine ever before biought to my no
tice. The mode of administration, the smallness of the
dose, and the certainty of its efficacious effects, give it, in
my opinion, a decided advantage over any other medicine
of the kind before the public.
Purchasers will please be careiul to a-k for IR. M’LANE’S
CELEBHATED V liItMIFIIGE, andtake none else All other
Vermifuges, in comparison, are worthless. Dr. vi’Lanes gen

after a few do-es you do not find your health and beauty
