A large crowd attended Mother’s D ■ services and heard an interesting sermon. .ir. and Mrs. Robert Swears, Mrs. Carlton Jones, Misses Sallie and Bes sie Taylor of Macon were in town Sunday. Miss Floy Lee Everett of Macon visited her parents here Sunday. Judge Butler visited in Macon last Tuesday. Mrs. N. H. Bacon was in Macon Tuesday. Mrs. T. A. Beall visited relatives in Macon this week. D. O. McCook of Macon spent the week-end with his mother, Mrs. D. McCook. The many friends of Mr. and Mrs. John Davis and family extend their heartfelt sympathy in the death of their daughter, Mrs. J. T. Bloodworth, who died in Atlanta at the Grady hos pital last Friday. Mrs. Ollie Stephens and daughter of Sandersville visited her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. T. Dupree, Sr., near Irwinton Sunday. Sirs. Orian Manson of Milledgeville visited relatives this week. We are sorry to know that Clarence Pierce is still on the sick list. TOOMSBORO LOCALS Mr. and Mrs. Levi R. Cason and children spent Tuesday in Macon. Miss Annie May Darby of Macon spent the week-end with Miss May bell Bridwell. Miss Nettie Smith returned to her home in Perry Sunday, accompanied by Miss Maybell Bridwell; Messrs. M. H. Hall and L. Jordan. Mrs. T. L. Lancaster, Mrs. R. O. Borgainer and children spent Tuesday in Milledgeville. H. E. Stephens and Levi R. Cason visited in Macon Thursday. Mrs. W. H. Freeman and Mrs. F. B. Mr. and Mrs. Dodd and baby of Covington visited Mrs. Will Padget Sunday. Mrs. Kirkpatrick and daughter of Dublin visited Mrs. C. C. Johnson this week-end. J. J. Breen and wife and little daughter spent Sunday with the fam ily of T. A. Gibbs. Mrs. J. W. Hooks attended the Woodrow Wilson College Memorial committee luncheon at the Capitol City club, in Atlanta, Wednesday and will attend a luncheon Friday of the same committee at the Savannah hotel in Savannah. Mrs. G. S. Powell has returned to her home in Atlanta after a "visit to her sisters, Mrs. W. A. Jones and Mrs. J. W. Hooks. Mrs. R. P.
