A. did some real good work lart year and we are counting on having a better year this time. Farmer Makes Record Pick Milledgeville,Ga., Sept. 12. J. T- Martin, a prominent farmer of the Camp Creek Community, picked five bales of eetton from eight acres of land during Aug ust this year. The total weight of the five bales was 2,513 pounds of lint, and due to August being considered a very early month for cotton picking it is considered remarka ble that so much cotton could have been gathered during this month.
