Mr. Aikens was born in Jackson County, the son of Lizzette Aikens and the late William Johnny Aikens Sr. He served in the United States Army and National Guard for 33 years and later worked as a correc- tional officer for Lee Arrendale Institute. He was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church. She was a member of Victory Baptist Church and was a librarian at Nicholson Public Library. (622) Olive Mozelle Clark COMMERCE Olive Mozelle Clark, 90, died Wednesday, October 19, 2016, at Northridge Nursing Home. She was the daughter of the late Joe and Blanche Scar borough of Madison County. She is pre ceded in death by her hus band of 54 years, Howard Clark. Mrs. Clark was a native of Madison County and a house wife, who worked on the farm, alongside her husband, raising seven daughters. She enjoyed cooking, canning and sewing for her family. Mrs. Clark was a faithful mem ber of her church. Crossroads Worship Center, formerly Commerce Church of God. The funeral was held on Friday, October 21, at the chapel of Ivie Funeral Home, Commerce. The Rev. Gary Thompson officiated, with the Rev. John Webber, Mrs. Clark's former long-time pas tor, and granddaughter, Ange la Gary, speaking. Survivors include her seven daughters, Lorene Dove, Colbert; Sarah Gary, Lynda Ayers and Roberta Owensby, all of Commerce; Deborah Lin, Albuquerque, N.M.; Wanda Stearns, Cumming; and Audrey Harmon, Spar tanburg, S.C.; four brothers, Frank Scarborough, Blacks- hear; the late Harold Scarbor ough, the late Jim Scarbor ough and the late Glen Scar borough; and three sisters, Betty Ruth Gillian and Alva Hay, both of Bogart; and the late Nellie Joe Scarborough. October 26, 2016. ‘Buster’ Cleveland Jr. ALTO - Louie William "Buster” Cleveland, Jr., 83, passed away on Thursday, October 20, 2016. Mr. Cleveland was born on January 14, 1933, in Atlanta, the son of the late Louie Wil liam Cleveland, Sr. and Vir ginia Schmid Cleveland. He was preceded in death by his brother, Robert H. Cleveland; and three grandsons, Cody Cleveland, Ben Kimbrell, and Chris Chapman. Mr. Cleve land was a University of Georgia graduate with a Mas ter's Degree in Education. He was a United States Marine Coips veteran having proudly served his country during the Korean Conflict. He also taught at the Naval Air Technical Training Cen ter in Jacksonville, Fla. He served on the Georgia State Board of Technical and Adult Education for eight years. Buster was Vice President of Cleveland Electric Com pany with 40 years of service as well as Past President of the Southeastern Chapter of Electrical Apparatus Service Association. Mr. Cleveland was a member of First Baptist Church of Cornelia and past treasurer of Men's Ministries. Survivors include his lov ing wife of 64 years, Anita Smith Cleveland, Alto; daughters and sons-in-law, Jill and David Chapman, Milledgeville, and Holly and Mark Murphy, Cumming; son and daughter-in-law, Vann and Kathy Cleveland, Atlanta; and four grandsons, Taylor Cleveland, Bart Kim brell, Shane Murphy, and Kyle Muiphy. Chuck was retired from CSX Railroad after 39 years of employment. His career started with Union Pacific Railroad in Denver, Colo., in 1960 and his sales career and manage ment with the B&O Rail road, later became CSX, which enabled Chuck to live in five different states retiring in Jacksonville, Fla. Chuck served on the planning and zoning board for the City of Hoschton. He was involved in the neighbor hood watch program for The Village at Hoschton. Chuck loved his family, friends, life and traveling. (622) Roland Terilli Roland Edward Terilli passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 13, 2016, at the age of 83. Roland was born on September 1, 1933, in The Bronx, N.Y. Soon after, his family moved to Miami, Fla., where he would grow up. He met his wife, Mary Beverly Baldwin at Miami Jackson High School. In 1953, while he was in the Marine Corps and she was in nurs ing school, they eloped because Mary was not allowed to be married while in nursing school. Roland enjoyed a long career at Southern Bell, later to become BellSouth. In 1982, Roland was transferred to the Atlanta area, where he was part of the team that imple mented the original 911 Sys tem across several southern states. After retiring from BellSouth in 1987, he and Mary Beverly remained in the Atlanta area. For Roland, his family was most important. His deep love and reverence of his wife lasted the 63 years of their marriage. They have four children, Deborah Wowk (Peter), Sugar Hill, Michael Terilli, Gales Ferry, Conn., Christopher Terilli, Decatur, and Timothy Terilli (Sandra), Statham. Roland had a dry wit which he used to put everyone at ease. He and Mary Beverly filled their home with love and laughter. Underlying this humor was a respect that Roland had for all people. He was a man of unwavering integrity and character and passed those values on to his children. Survivors include his wife, their four children, six grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and countless friends. The family wishes to pro vide a special thanks to Kathy Stone and the staff at Olive Branch where Roland spent his final months in a loving and caring environment.
