Prohibition Agent Ed Carpenter

afternoon 9 miles east of
Cleveland in Habersham county in
all his raidings, so he tells us.
The outfit consisted of one 9O

6,000 gailos of beer, 5O0 gallons of
apple pomace, 8 bu. meal, 1 sack
malt, 2,ooo feet lumber, rools roof¬

couered with roofing, dirt, and
brush and each end planked up,
Mr. Carpenter estimated the out¬
fit to be worth $1,000,
