it you attend the Epworth Eca
gue Sunday uigl't at the Cleveland
Methodist Church you will hear a
vary interesting discussion by Mr.
H. D. Wiley on Companionate
Marriage.
You have noticed considerable
mention in the newspapers recent¬
ly on Companionate Marriage. Mr.
Wiley will tell you in a vivid and
forceful manner why companion¬
ate marriage should never be per¬
mitted, and the seriousness of the
young mind entertaining and har¬
boring this method of matrimonial
connection.
This method of matrimonial con¬
nection should have never been
permitted to receive such large
space in our metropolitan news¬
papers. Since it has been given
such wide publicity it must be con¬
demned in certain and forceful
terms by all people who bold mar¬
riage ceremonies and vows sacred.
That is why Mr. Wiley is to " dis¬
cuss this subject next Sunday night
at the Epworth League. He. has
gone to considerable trouble to se
ettrq data on his subject and he will
have something good for his audi¬
ence.
judge Ben Lindsey’s and Mrs.
Jielrand Russell’s theory of mar¬
riage. should be tossed into the
waste basket.
