Pleasmt chufch February , 22 nd and organized a Vegetable Growers Association. Mr. F. I). Allen presided at the meeting. After a discussion ol the State organization by Mr. F D. Allen and the County Agent t| ie following officers were elected. Mr. F. D, Allen president; Mr Joe Winkler, vice presiflent ■/ and Mr. George Allen, sec’y. - treas. The next meeting of this organ¬ ization will be at the Mt. Pleasant church at S p. ni. March 2 nd. The object of the organization is to bet¬ ter acquaint the farmers wish the growing, grading, and packing methods, thereby placing our far¬ mers in position to meet the stale competition, and prevent unfair competition of truck farm border ing states.
