Pennfylvania left Philadelphia
on Monday laft, for Northamp
ton County, where, we learn,
the Infurgcnts have increafed in
number and outrage,
PHILADELPHIA, March 14,

from Northampton, we learn,
that the infurreftion geathers
head there.
The marfhal, with a few
mounted followers, let oIF again
on Monday for the Icenc of in

gents.
Several outrages have been
recently committed upon the
perfons of the moll refpeftable
char afters, by the Northampton
rebels,
FAYETTEVILLE, March 2.
Was apprehended a few days
ago, and committed to the gaol
of this town, a man for endea
voring to pafs 23 twenty dollar
Bank Bills of Charleftondcpofit.
The Bills on examination were
found to be well executed, ex
cept the fignature , which appear
ed not to be uniform. The man
has hnce obtained bail.

tions, that Chief Juftice Ells
worth, left Philadelphia for
Georgia, on the 6th of March.

ence between the genuine and

virtue of their fevcial office, according
to the true intent and meaning of the
laid Charter ; the Governor, the
Judges of the Superior Courts, the

of the lloufc of Representatives, do
and of right ought now to conftitutc the
board of vitttors, and a part of the Se
natus Academicus of the faid univer-
