In the Supreme Court os Pcnnlylvania, in December term 1799, Dr. Benjamin Kussi, os Philadelphia, brought an a&ion againll Mr. William Corbett, editor os Porcupine's gazette, sor certain desamatory publica tions which bad appeared in that gazette: the cause was brought to trial on Friday the 13th inst.; the pleadings Were sinished on Saturday the 14th inliant, at 3 o'clock, p. m. when thejun, aster receiving a pertinent charge srom Shippcn retired md the court adjourned till 5 o'clock.
