The Monitor does not hesitate to say that our people are taking the proper step in the right direction. Nearly every county in the state have voted “dry" and Calhoun is only keep¬ ing up with the procession. Lot’s help to get the sale of intoxicat ing liquors out of the state by voting Colhotin “dry.” It will be bene¬ ficial to the people in every way possible. Dickey Department. Davis and family. Mr. and Mrs. L. M. Palmer spent a few days last week with relatives here. Mr. T. H. Rodgers attended preaching at Mars Hill Sunday.
