Mr. and Mrs. Ward Watkins of
Nashville, Tenn., are the guests of
Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Watkins.
Mr. and Mrs. W. M. Kenney left
on Monday for a trip which will in
clude New Orleans, Fort Worth and
Myrtle, Texas.
Miss Ruth Mclntyre of Adairs
ville was a recent guest of her aunt,
Mrs. Tom Hardage.
Mrs. Pyron ang daughter of Smyr
na are spending some weeks with
Mrs. Marvin Frey.
- Mrs. Idelle Herren and son, James,
were the week-end guests of Mr. and
Mrs. Mayes Frey.
Mrs. J. E. Sage returned Monday
from a visit of several weeks to rela
tives in Louisville, Kentucky.
Mr. and Mrs. P. D. Reeser are now
with Mrs. Horace Field.
Mr. James H, Groves left on
Thursday to join his family, who are
visiting Mr. and Mrs. Talley in Pet
ershurg, Fla.
Miss Katie Sue Schaefer of West
Point, visited Miss Mary Schilling
last week and both of them are the
guests of Mrs. Brooks Lovelace in
Atlanta this week.
Miss Julia McNeel left Thursday
night to attend a house party given
by Miss Dorothy Robins, in Stanton,
Virginia. :

Mr. and Mrs. C. W. DuPre left
on Thursday for a trip to Lansing,

Mrs. Fred Morris is spending the
week with Mrs. H. M. Cottingham.
Banks DePre, who has been home
from Camp Dixie for two weeks, has
returned.
Mr. and Mrs. Robert Seals of
Birmingham, were the Sunday guests
of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Wyatt.
Mrs. James W. Legg has returned
from an extended visit to Lexington
and Louisville, Kentucky, Cincinnati,
‘Chicago and friends in other cities.
Mr. J. G. Sullivan, who has been
with his family visiting Mr. and Mrs.
W. A. Coursen, has returned to New
York. Mrs. Sullivan will remain two
weeks longer.
Mrs. Robert L. Northcutt, who has

fornia, after spending the winter in

Granbury, Texas, Baptist church,
has been the guest of Mr. and Mrs.
G. C. Roberts this week. Mr. Tum
lin was formerly the beloved pastor
of the church here.

ter, Mrs. Pyron.
Mr. and Mrs. G. W. Swanson of
Acworth, and Mr. Andrew Swanson
