MOUNT ZION. -
We are sorry to hear of the death
-of Mr. McElreath and we extend our
sympathy to the bereaved ones.
Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hayne of
Anniston, Alabama, are spending a
few weeks with their daughter, Mrs.
E. J. Lemon.
Mr. Raymond Rakestraw of this
place has accepted a positien in At
lanta.
Mr. and Mrs. Frank Brooks and
family attended the singing at Pow
der Springs last Saturday.
A good many from this section
have been attending the revival meet
ing at Olive Springs and report some
very interesting meetings.
Mrs. Charles Lemoner and Miss
Belle Lemoner have been on the sick
list for a few days but are better at
this writing.
The young people of this section
seem to like fishing very well as thei
weather is 50 hot. We saw a crowd
Jeaving on afishing trip last Wednes
day and Thursday.
We have a very good attendance
at our Sunday school now and we
wish that more of the people would
take an interest and help carry on

The community was shocked to
learn of the sudden death of Mr.
McElreath, the father of one of our
teachers, Miss Addie. She has the
sympathy of her friends at Sandy
Plains.
Mrs. Van Monroe of Atlanta is
paying relatives in this section a visit.

spent last week in Marietta as the
guests of her brother, Mr. Roy Beard.
