This summer insti tute will begin on Tuesday, July 1, and will close with the State exam ination of Friday, August 1. The student body will be organized into classes and taught by master teachers the same subjects they will present in a short time to their children with the hope of imitating the master teacher that they may better present the same sub jects to their own schools. There will be a course of talks and lectures at least three evenings per week. Excursions to interesting points will be made from time to time. ON GIRL'S: BED SET Four of Five Members of Family Wiped Out By Youth in One Years’ Time St. Petersburg, Fla., Feb. 20.— Full and complete confession of the murder of his father and mothr here last night and his two gisters in De catur, Ga., a year ago, was made here this afternoon by Frank Me- Dowell, according to Chief of Police Coslick and Detective John Trotter. Frank told the police that when he was 12 years old, he committed a sin against the Holy Ghost, and ever since then there had been an anti- Christ element in his family, and he felt he had to remove it. He said that last night soon after his father and mother went to bed, the anti- Christ became dominant and he got his pistol and shot his father and his ‘mother. They were to him, not his lfather and mother, he said, but the anti-Christ. He said he shot his father first and then his mother, and fired five shots, all that were in his weapon. Then he went back to bed. This was early, soon after 10 o’clock. He said he woke up later when it began and that there might be co \sequen ces. So he said he got up and went to the kitchen and bumped his head against a shelf and then gave the alarm to the neighbors. Describes Burning Girls Frank told the police that he had realized long before the fire in which his sisters were burned to death, that they were the anti-Christ element in ‘his family, and that he must remove ‘them. He said he went into the room where they were sleeping and threw gasoline over their bed and then took fire from the fireplace and set the gasoline ablaze He said he then ran out of the room, after locking the door leading from the house and af ter he got out locked the other door, which opened into the yard. Frank went into details when asked to do so. He said that he had written the old letter, typewritten on a piece of paper cut heart-shaped Monday and had taken it home with him. After shooting his parents, he said he put the letter on the bed be tween them. This letter read as follows: “Our father who are in Heaven, hallowed be Thy name; Thy king dom come; Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven; give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors and lead us not into temptation, but de liver us from evil for Thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever and ever, Oh, Jehovah, for thrust in the defiled womb of the elder virgin of the issue of anti- Christ didst I offer up this prayer to the spirit writ upon the likeness of the cross of sin, which didst weigh heavily upon mine heart, till purged in the consuming flames of the evil one; and it was the end of the first year of sin with me and the end of mine sin before the spirit; and now in the mouth of the father of the house of Satan do I offer up this prayer of mine Heavenly Father writ on the likeness of mine heart, des tined to the blackness of sin that it shall be washed away in the blood of the lamb as it gusheth from the body of thine slain enemy; and it is the end of the second year of sin with me and the end of mine sin be fore thee and likewise in the watery sepulchre of the Son of the House of anti-Christ shall I mingled this (Continued on Last Page) 20 PAGES NUMBER 8
