days and the farmers are working

The little daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Belle, of Atlanta, was brought to the
Kemp cemetery for burial Sunday
merning. Their many friends sym
pathize with the bereaved ones in
their sad hour.
Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Owen of West
Rocky Mt., spent Sunday with Mr.
and Mrs. J. M. Owen.
Master Pat Kemp of Rocky Mt.,
and Lawrence Brown and Clyde Ma
bry all spent Saturady night with
Messrs. Hubert and Glenn Newton.
Several attended the singing at
Carmel Sunday and reported a good
time and fine singing.
Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Easns spent
Sunday afternon with friends at Har
mony Grove.
Mr. and Mrs. Jessie Cobb, of At
lanta, spent the week-end with Mr.

The Rev and Mrs. Jones Reeves

at Mrs. Alice Dodgen’s Sunday in

A very large crowd attended the
singingat Sandy Plains Sunday after
noon.
Cutting wheat is the order of the
day at Sandy Plains.
The funeral of the little baby of
Mr. and Mrs. Riley Queen of Atlan
ta was held here last Tuesday.
Dr. Power spent last Thursday in
Atlanta.
Mr. and Mrs. G. H. Whorton, who
have been visiting relatives in Amer
icus for some time, returned home
lest Tuesday.
Mrs. John Prance and children, of
Americus, were here visiting relatives
recently.
Miss Earlie Griffith, of Blackwells
is here visiting her sister.
We are glad to note that Mrs. Nor
man Braswell is improving after an
attack of appendicitis,
Little Miss Frances Green, who has
been on the sick list, has improved,
we are glad to note.
Myrtie Voyles, of Atlanta was the
week-end guest of her parents here.
Mr. and Mrs. W. M. McGarity and
two little girls attended the family
reunion that was given by Mrs. Alice
Dodgen.

joyed by a large crowd.
Sunday school was re-organized at
Bold Springs Sunday afternoon, Mr.
W. A, Frasure was elected superin
tendent. W% had twenty-five on roll
Sunday. Everyone is cordially invi
ted to come out and help us build up
this Sunday school. Be there at two
o’clock.
There will be a singing at this place
on the fifth Sunday night. Everyone
is invited,
