The Agricultural Train.
The Agricultural train will make
two stops in Cobb county. It will be
at Powder Springs at eight o’clock on
the morning of March 21st and at
Marietta at eight o’clock on the morn
ing of March 23rd.
A Hustling Concern.,
ONLY a few short months ago the Mo
bile Fruit Co., opened up a fruit and pro
duce exchange in Marietta. They
first commenced handling Bananas and
Oranges from wagons on the street.
This business has grown so rapidly that
they were forced to secure a large store
room on the North Side of the public
square, where they are now handling
two cars of Bananas each week, one
of which they ship to their branch ex
change in Cartersville.
They are receiving daily shipments of
fresh Vegatables from their large truck
farm in Florida, which gives the people
of Marietta an opportunity to buy fresh
vegetables daily. This is something
new, and they are highly pleased with
the liberal patronage they are receiving

Mr, and Mrs. Guyton Parmer Rey
nolds arrived in Marietta Tuesday after
a delightful tour of Florida. They vis
ited Jacksonville, Palm Beach and Or
lando, which was Mrs, Reynold’s home
in her girlhood, and where relatives and
friends entertained in her honor as a
bride. For the present Mr. and Mrs.
Reynolds are at home with Dr and Mrs,
Aristides Reynolds,
Mrs. Henry Meinert, who is an au
thority on the cultivation of roses,
urges everyone to prune rose bushes
immediately. Her directions for plant
ing and cultivating roses will be pub
lished next week,

‘Mrs. James T. Anderson in Florida,
Mr. and Mrs. Dan Andersan are with
‘the children at their home on Whitlock
Avenue,
—The monthly meeting of the
Woman’s Foreign Missionary Society
of the Methodist church, will be held
Thursday afternoon February 9th,
at three o’clock, in the church parlor.
