Motion made by Mr. T. W. Read,
and seconded by Mr. J. J. Black: That
we make Street Tax $2.50 for the year
1911. Motion carried.
Motion made by Mr. J. J. Black, and
se~onded by Mr. J. N. Gantt: That the
Mayor and Council thank the Civic
JLeague for their help and interest in
the recent cleaning up of our town,
and to extend to them our hearty co
operation in the good work which they
are doing towards making our city
beautiful, and that a copy of these
resolutions be sent to the President of
the Civic League. Motion carried. ‘

and seconded by Mr. J. N. Gantt; That
