The exercises at the college Sat~l
urday night were well attended,
and the program rendered by the
senior class was very fine. There
will be sixteen graduates this
term: eight young ladies and
eight young men. The brick work
is complete on the girls’ dormi
tory and the rebuilding of the
boy’s dormitory is rapidly going
on.
Mr. John McEachern and fam
ily, of Atlanta, spent the week
end here with relatives.
Allen, we are glad you gave a
list of your young men and bach
elors, as Lost Mountain' has
turned out a lot of prominent men
in the past. Old bachelors are
scarce as hens’ teeth in this com
munity. As there are so many
bachelor girls here the boys all
leave before they arrive at the
bachelor age. However, we have
(quite a nice set of young men
coming on that may be on your
list when leap year comes again.
As we have not had a repre
sentative from this part of the
county for quite awhile we would
suggest the name of Rev. W. I
Walden, who is well and favor
ably known to the people all over
the county and would make a
zood renrcsentative. He has
never askcd for an office of any
kind but 1s well qualified to nll
any otice and especially would he
make o« ood representative.

Rake tvuw and sisters, Misses
Mae .nd Fannie Rakestraw, of

Sunday here with relatives.

Wilkins made a business trip to

improve very much.

Facts for Weak Women
Nine-tenths of all the sickness of women is due to some derangement or dis
case of the organs aistinctly feminine. Such sickness can be cured-is cured
every day by
Dr. Pierce’s Favorite Prescripti
r. Pilerce’s Favorite Prescription
It Makes Weak Women Strong,
Sick Women Well.
It acts directly on the organs affected and is at the same time a general restora
tive tonic for the whole system. It cures female complaint right in the privacy
of home. It makes unnecessary the disagreeable questioning, examinations and
local treatment so universally insisted upon by doctors, and so sbhorrent to
every modest woman,
We shall not particularize here as to the symptoms of
those peculiar affections incident to women, but those
wanting full information as to their symptoms aad
means of positive cure are referred to the People’s Com
mon Sense Medical Adviser—looB pages, newly revised R
and up-to-date Edition, sent free on receipt of 21 one
