Harris-Wallace wedding in Macon
Wednesday evening. Miss Jean Wal
lace was maid of honor, wearing white
lace with pink girdle, pink bandeau
and aigrette, and carrying pink roses.
Emmie Montgomery was a flower girl“
in white with pink ribbons.
MRS. CHASE ENTERTAINS
FOR MRS. NOEL PARK
Mrs. Inman Strong Chase gave a
bridge luncheon Tuesday at half past
one and later in the afternoon an al
fresco tea for Mrs. Noel Park, of
Augusta, at ‘‘ThejOaks,’’ the beauti
ful home of Mrs. John M. Graham on
Forest Avenue.
Daisies were used in profusion in
baskets and vases and the ladies were
like animated blossomis in their light
summer dresses and pretty hats. The
guest of honor was lovely and girlish in
white embroidered mull and Mrs. Chase
was handsome in deep cream with tou
ches of green velvet.
At bridge Mrs. T. M. Brumby, Jr.,
won the prize, a silver picture frame,
and Mrs. Dunklin Reynolds was conso
led with a silver pencil in a silver case.
Mrs. Park’s favor was a pair ofjelegant
towels. During the afternoon Mrs.
Davenport played accompaniments for
Miss Virginia Crosby and Miss Lucy
Gilbert who sang several beautiful
songs. Those assisting Mrs. Chase were
Mrs. Keeler, Mrs Georgia Kay,;Sullivan,
Mrs. Graham and Miss Eloise Brown.
