Charlie Head and myself went
through the A. and M. college last
Tuesday and took a full course, din
ner included. The day before we view
ed the exhibit in the agricultural
car of the Northern Pacific Railroad.
Since taking this complete course we
think there is but little else we can
learn about farming, think even un
cle Gid will have to sit up and take
notice when we get all of these new
ideas into practice.
By the way we are much impressed
with the progress and improvements
being made at the Mac Land A and M.
(College. Two large brick dormitories
ror the boys and girls, also one large
spaecious dining hall ecuipped with
the necessary conveniences, have
been completed. We listened to the
various farm subjects discussed by
Professors ‘Firror, Hart and Jones of
the state agricultural college and
Dr. Bradford, organizer of boys corn
clubs and found them very instruc
tive..
Professor Hunt and his staff or
teachers are doing some good work,
and our people do not fully appreci
ate what is being done by this insti
tution. It is composed of nearly two
hundred intelligent looking North
Georgia farmer boys and girls who
are being trained to make better far
mers and farmers wives.
Hugh Kemp visited his aunts
Misses Nannie and Jessie Kemp last

Our winter has been very mild thus
