METHODIST CHURCH'S
XMAS ENTERTAINMENT.
One of the prettiest Christmas en
tertainments given this Christmas
was that given by the Methodist
Sunday school.
Miss Emily Griffin’s class of lit
tle girls did most of the little chil
dren’s part, whle Miss Lucy Gil
bert sang a very sweet solo.
Then Miss Lillie Boatner, in a very
touching and tender way, told the
story of the ‘“Other Wise Man’’ as
pictured by Dr. Henry Van Dyke.
This sweet talk was one of the most
touching ever delivered by so young
a girl as Miss Boatner, who is a very
talented girl and is always ready to
do her part in entertaining.
