MRS. ANDERSON’S LUNCHEON.
Mrs. Dan Anderson entertained her
luncheon club on Wednesday using
a color scheme of yellew and white
with lovely effect. As a centerpiece
there was an immense bowl of white
parcissus with yellow centers arrang
eu with asparagus fern. At each end
was a large vase of the same sweet
flowers. The white candles were set
in yellow pompons and the white and
vellow mints and almonds were in
Venetian glass dishes.
The place cards were in easel style
with a slender lady holding a great
vellow tulip like a coquettish parasol
drooping above her head and the
favors were tiny musical instruments
filled with candy.

A POWDER SPRINGS PICNIC.
On last Saturday the sons of Mrs.
George Sessions and Mrs. Will DuPre
gave a picnic to 20 of their little
friends. Their mothers chaperoned
the party and Mr. James T. Ander
son aided by taking his big car full
of children and lunch baskets and
extra clothing in case of accident.
As the diversions were mostly acqua
tic and the children unfamiliar
with the stream, dry clothes and
sweaters were soon in demand. It
was a bright day however and clothes
dried fast. The children waded
and swam and fished and lunched
and were as happy as only boys can
be “way in the country where there
ist but woods and pigs and cows and
all out doors and air’”, not to men
tion the flowers, sweet-shrubs and
minnows in the brooks. Well these
children enjoyed themselves to the
limit and not an accident befel them
all day long.

feeling for those who voted for any
one of my opponents. 1 wish also to

DANGER AFTER GRIPPE
Lies in Poor Blood, Cough and
Worn-Out Condition,
Grippe, pleurisy, pneumonia are
greatly to be feared at this season.
To prevent grippe from being fol
lowed by either pleurisy or pneumo
nia, it is important to drive the last
traces of it out of the system.
Our advice is to take Vinol, our
delicious cod liver and iron prepara
tion without oil, and get your
strength and vitality back quickly.
W. W. Lake of Aberdeen, Miss.,
says: Grippe left me weak, run-down
and with a severe cough from which
I suffered for a long time. I tried
different remedies, but nothing seem
ed to do me any good until I took
Vinol from which I received great
benefit. My cough is almost entirely
gone and I am stréng and well again.”
Try Vinol with the certainty that
if it does not benefit you we will give
back your money,
P. S. For Eczema of Scalp try
our Saxo Salve. We guarantee it.
