Miss Dorothy Hebert, of New Or
leans, who has been visiting in At
lanta for several weeks, spent Mon
day in Marietta with Mrs Guyton and
Misses Lottie Lon and Ella Murray.
Miss Hebert formely lived here and
still loves her Mari~tta friends al
though she is petted by highh shocin
ty. wherever she goes.

MRS. FREY'S BIRTHDAY.
Last Friday was Mrs. N, C. Frey’s
88th birthday and it was celebrated
with a nice dinner that inecluded
strawberries and other cakes bheside
the big birthday cake. All her
children were present except the son
in Oklahoma and Mrs. Bullard, who
was ill. The useful and pretty gifts
were bestowed by Mrs. Frey's child
ren and grand children. She is in
good health and enjoys life although
compelled to sit in a rolling chair.

tics and English”. This is a high
honor for a young girl but Miss Moss
has always been a supecrior girl in

dignified, earnest and devoted to
